Marcus O’Connor M.I.A.V.I, A.C.I.Arb, B.E.R Assessor (Managing Director): Marcus has over 15 years experience in the property industry. He has worked with two of the big five auctioneers in Dublin and has progressed through the ranks from Junior Negotiator to the position of Managing Director of McGinley Farrelly and O’Connor. In this role Marcus is working closely with the excellent and energetic team in its core competencies: Lettings, Management, Residential, Commercial and Valuations. Marcus is a full member of the respected Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute (I.A.V.I). He is proud to sit on the Property Valuer Committee and the Young Members Committee which deals with current and future property related issues. Marcus is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a qualified Building Energy Rating Assessor. He successfully completed the general practitioner exams with the Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCS) and is undergoing the Society’s Assessment of Professional Competence in order to obtain full membership of this leading body in the commercial property industry.
Gemma Farrelly (Property Management Consultant): Gemma Farrelly commenced her career in Residential Lettings and Property Management over 12 years ago. She has gained vast experience and knowledge of the Property Industry and was previously employed as branch manager with one of Dublin’s largest letting agents where she led the expansion of a number of other branches. In this leadership role, Gemma’s strong level of commitment and judgment proved these ventures extremely successful. Specialising in Residential Lettings and Property Management throughout Dublin City and County, you can be assured of a personal and professional service. Gemma is delighted to have fulfilled a personal ambition with the establishment of McGinley Farrelly & O’Connor, and as company Chairperson plays a leading role in the daily decisions regarding the rapid expansion of the business.
Ivor Ashe MSCSI (Commercial Agent): Ivor is the dedicated commercial agent and deals with sales, lettings, rent reviews and valuations on a daily basis for McGinley Farrelly & O’ Connor. Prior to taking up his position with the company, Ivor gained experience within other well know firms in the property industry and was in several roles, including property management, commercial agency, commercial valuations and rent reviews. These areas of expertise cover all types of property namely Retail, Office and Industrial. He is a full member of the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute (IAVI) and is also a member of the IAVI Young Members’ Committee, which acts as an intermediary between members organising social and networking events and maintaining communications with the Institute. Ivor achieved Chartered Surveyor status through the Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCS) in September 2010.
